Classic left-hand DAIWA multiplier reel designed for fishing in Norway and tropical regions!

The Saltiga offers DAIWA’s latest technologies for conventional reels. The goal of its development was to provide easy handling through improved balance, light weight, and durability. The body features a special frame that keeps the reel in perfect equilibrium. The Hyper Driver Design concept ensures incredible winding power and strength. Machined Hyper Drive Digigear gears improve power transmission thanks to larger teeth. The Hyper Armed Housing aluminum body keeps the gears firmly in place and resists torsion. The Hyper Tough Clutch remains engaged even during powerful casts. Hyper Double Support provides two ball bearings on each side of the gear for optimal power transfer from the handle. The body also features a special anti-corrosion technology.

The ATD waterproof drag ensures smooth line release under load and makes it easier to fish with thin lines and braids. The reel is equipped with a star drag that produces an audible click. The handle length can be shortened from 85 mm to 75 mm depending on the required winding power. An ideal reel for light jigging and for fishing cod and halibut in Norway.

This reel is equipped with a spool lock button located on the side plate.
