Big Browns to Kick Off 2025!

The trout season opener was a complete success! We toured a lot of waters and were successful almost everywhere, catching rainbows, brook trout, and brown trout. There weren’t huge numbers of browns this year, but Tonda managed to land 52 and 54 cm fish, and that definitely counts!
We know what works on them!
We wish you a fantastic trout season too!

Letošní prosinec pro nás byl trochu atypický, protože mě trápí ruce a lékař mi nedoporučil lovit. Takže nedošlo na tradiční candátí šílenství, kdy každý prosinec vydoluji mraky hezkých ryb. Lovit chodili především kluci se zaměřením na okouny a candáty a pěkné ryby pochytali a naši čest tak uhájili. Mě to jednou nedalo a přes bolest jsem se taky vypravil a výsledkem bylo mnoho krásných okounů, z nichž se jeden přiblížil jedné z magických hranic a měl 43 cm. Prosinec je poslední šance lovit a za mě - jedno z těch nejlepších období roku. Proto vyražte taky!

November zander and perch

November slowly followed the pike/perch run of October. Basically, we caught something every time, there were even days when the fish literally went crazy. This was mainly experienced by Tomáš with a wobbler while fishing for perch and pike. Traditionally, the most successful REDBASS rubber lures have been Nymfa, KiXter and Kicker.

Prickly October

It wouldn't be a proper October if we didn't get good catches of perch and zander. We mainly did well from the shore on the uprights. The floods slowly receded on the rivers, but the water rose again with the regular autumn draining of the ponds. And higher water full of leaves does not record much predator hunting.
