Description
wo special rods for winter fishing of the largest salmonids – the Wilderness Hucho – have been precisely tailored to the demands of taimen fishing. The extra-large guides allow comfortable use of various types of lures even in cold winter conditions.
Thanks to their large diameter, the guides freeze up much more slowly, and any ice can easily be removed from the inserts. The powerful blank with a fast action pleasantly absorbs head shakes and sudden runs, yet offers immense power reserves for controlling large fish. The blank also transmits even the slightest taps directly to the handle, enabling the angler to explore bottom structures in great detail.
The Wilderness series has been specially designed for salmonid fishing in streams, rivers, lakes, and along the coasts of the Baltic and North Seas. This special range has been carefully tuned to target species such as sea trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, lake trout, Arctic char, and taimen. Some models are, of course, also perfectly suited for perch, chub, and pike fishing.
The lightweight HMC+ carbon fiber blank is exclusively equipped with premium components – a Fuji reel seat with a state-of-the-art locking nut, lightweight Seaguide XO guides, and a fine cork handle provide exceptional equipment for rods in this price range.
