Description
Saltiga SW – for uncompromising performance on trevallies, tunas, and other powerful species.
The Saltiga SW series was developed in cooperation with our experienced tropical fishing specialists, Robert Balkow and Heiko Regner, and is specially designed for demanding use on hard-fighting fish.
The use of top-quality materials and components ensures absolute reliability: the extremely robust HVF carbon blanks with X45X technology offer maximum rigidity and allow precise casting and perfectly controlled lure presentation – even with heavy poppers, jigs, stickbaits, and more.
The backbone of the Saltiga SW rods provides immense strength and power reserves for safely fighting big fish and keeping them away from structure with a tightened drag. The fast tip action ensures impressive casting distances. High-quality original Fuji SiC K-guides are wrapped under the frames to protect the blank and withstand the heaviest loads and pressure.
The exclusive Saltiga butt cap ensures maximum comfort during long battles. The Light Game models are also equipped with the exclusive Zero Seat reel seat – a symbol of ergonomics and comfort.
Saltiga – gear for anglers who demand extreme and uncompromising quality.
Compared to the Saltiga SW Popper rod, this rod has a slightly more parabolic action and is especially suitable for medium to large lures in the 100–120 g range. Its slightly softer action allows for long-distance casting and easy control of both floating and sinking lures (stickbaits). The long foregrip provides a comfortable hold even during extended fights. As a hybrid model, this rod is also suitable for combined use with poppers weighing 100–120 g.
