The DAIWA Outrage saltwater rod series has been developed to deliver unmatched performance even in the world's most demanding marine conditions. The lineup includes specialized shore casting models with extended EVA handles designed for targeting tuna and GT (giant trevally) using stickbaits and small poppers, as well as shorter Cold Water Special models specifically engineered to meet the demands of Norwegian waters. The Cold Water Special rods feature shorter rear EVA handles for improved handling on board.

The 150g casting weight model is primarily designed for casting large soft lures for halibut and cod, while the lighter 120g CWS model features a fully progressive action, ideal for targeting saithe (coalfish) and pollack.

Completing the lineup is a powerful one-piece PE4 Slow Jigging rod, originally developed for uncompromising GT fishing, yet equally effective for saithe, cod, and halibut with lures up to 220g.

Every Outrage rod is built using premium components and DAIWA's latest technologies. HVF Nanoplus carbon blanks provide exceptional power while remaining lightweight, effortlessly handling the extreme demands of saltwater fishing. Their fast yet soft tip action allows for long, precise casts even with lighter lures and ensures precise lure control. X45 technology significantly enhances accuracy and rod strength for maximum control when fighting powerful marine predators.

The innovative 1+1 blank construction creates a seamlessly smooth bending curve while delivering superior strength. Premium Fuji SiC K-Guides ensure outstanding durability in harsh marine environments, while the Cold Water Special models feature smaller guides compared to the longer shore casting rods. The Fuji DPS reel seat with an additional locking nut securely holds large spinning reels, even under heavy loads and in rough sea conditions.

The rod is finished with a durable one-piece EVA handle that offers excellent saltwater resistance and easy maintenance. The Outrage series is the ideal choice for anglers who demand uncompromising quality, maximum reliability, and exceptional long-term durability.
