Description
If seeing clearly beneath the water's surface is essential to your fishing, you can rely on the X Series sunglasses. These polarized sunglasses are designed to let you scan the water comfortably throughout the entire day. The polycarbonate lenses and TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) frame provide excellent durability. The X1 features rubber inserts on the temples and nose pads to enhance comfort. Combined with the flexible frame material, this makes the X1 our most adaptable model.
Copper lenses
Copper lenses help enhance contrast and improve depth perception for objects such as fish against a blue background. We recommend copper lenses because they also provide excellent visual clarity and help reduce eye strain. In addition, they perform particularly well during the early morning and late evening hours, making it easier to spot fish.
Mirror coating
This feature is purely cosmetic and does not affect optical clarity. The actual lens colour can only be seen when viewed from the opposite side. The highly reflective mirror coating also helps conceal the wearer's eyes from view.
Hydrophobic coating
Imagine how much better you can see in rainy conditions with hydrophobic lenses. This coating bonds to the lens surface, leaving no space for water to adhere and cause long-term damage. It reduces the need for frequent cleaning while also making the lenses easier to maintain.
UV400 protection
This treatment protects your eyes from harmful ultraviolet radiation, providing 100% protection against UVA, UVB, and UVC rays.
Scratch-resistant coating
Despite advances in lens technology, no lenses are completely scratch-proof—not even glass lenses. However, Leech lenses are treated with a clear hard coating on both the front and back surfaces, making them significantly more resistant to scratches.
Polycarbonate (PC)
By injection-moulding polycarbonate material around the polarized filter, we create these high-quality lenses. Polycarbonate is a highly durable material that is extremely difficult to break. PC lenses offer excellent optical clarity and a polarization efficiency of 99%.
