Copper lens
Copper lenses help enhance contrast and improve depth perception for objects such as fish against a blue background. We recommend copper lenses as they also provide good clarity and help reduce eye strain. They are also very suitable for morning and evening use and significantly make it easier to spot fish.
Mirror coating
This feature is purely cosmetic and does not affect transparency. The lens color is only visible from the outside. It is a highly reflective mirror coating that prevents others from seeing your eyes.
Polycarbonate (PC)
We create these high-quality lenses by injection-molding polycarbonate material around a polarized layer. Polycarbonate is a durable material that is very difficult to break. PC lenses offer high clarity and 99% polarization efficiency.
Anti-reflective coating
The anti-reflective (AR) coating improves your vision through the lenses as well as the appearance of your glasses. The inner side coating prevents glare when the light source is behind you.
Hydrophobic coating
Imagine how much better you can see in the rain with a pair of hydrophobic lenses. These coatings bond to the lens surface and leave no space for water penetration or permanent water damage. This reduces the need for frequent cleaning and makes maintenance easier.
UV400 protection
This layer protects your eyes from UV radiation. It provides 100% protection against UVA, UVB, and UVC rays.
Scratch-resistant coating
Despite all advances in lens coating technology, truly scratch-proof lenses do not exist – even glass lenses. However, Leech lenses are treated on both the front and back with a clear hard coating, making them significantly more resistant to scratches.
