CERTATE SW – Power and Reliability Without Compromise

The CERTATE SW is a spinning reel designed for big game fishing: full-metal monocoque body, Power Drive Design, and Magsealed technology for maximum reliability. It is powerful, smooth, and durable, providing absolute control even over large predators.

The CERTATE SW was created to tackle large marine predators and continues the legacy of the CERTATE series. It is designed for anglers seeking top-level performance, combining strength, precision, and long-lasting durability.

At the heart of the reel is the Power Drive Design, the same concept used in the large Saltiga spinning reels. This system consists of two main units: the Power Drive Engine (body unit) and the Power Drive Rotor (rotor unit).

The Power Drive Engine integrates:

• Oversized Power DigiGear – large-diameter, high-strength gears

• Roller Power Oscillation, which reduces friction in the oscillating system

These components, housed in the large full-metal Monocoque (AL) body, ensure light startup, high efficiency, and constant winding power.

The Power Drive Rotor, made from ZAION, optimizes stiffness and inertia: compared to previous models, the rotor is stiffer and more responsive while maintaining low inertia. The result is light and smooth retrieval, ideal for jerks, plug fishing, and other technically demanding lure actions.

The combination of the Crank Power Bail and Tough Line Roller System ensures precise line guidance and smooth transitions between retrieving and casting. The LC-ABS SW spool with a double step reduces friction, improves casting smoothness, and enhances performance in the final part of the cast, allowing greater distance even at critical moments.

To protect the reel from water and salt spray, the crank seal has been improved, while Magsealed on the sprocket and line roller ensures water resistance even in extreme conditions.

The CERTATE SW integrates the most advanced technologies of the CERTATE series, including a full-metal monocoque body, Magsealed system, and high-strength gearing, offering a powerful, reliable, and easy-to-use reel for any fishing situation.

The range includes 9 models: 8000-P, 8000-H, 10000-P, 10000-H, 14000-P, 14000-XH, 18000-H, 20000-P, and 20000-H, covering everything from jigging and casting for tuna and amberjack with size 8000 to large GT, bluefin tuna, and marlin with size 20000.
