This high-quality, robust backpack has been specially designed to meet the specific demands of saltwater fishing and beyond. It is ideal for demanding fishing techniques in exotic destinations using poppers, stickbaits and other lures, as well as fishing trips to Norway or similar locations. The dimensions of this backpack have been carefully chosen to comply with the current carry-on baggage size restrictions of most airlines, allowing it to be taken on board with most carriers. The durable outer material is water-repellent and provides reliable protection against light rain showers. Its special surface makes salt deposits and dirt easy to clean off and allows it to dry quickly. The Grand Wave Expedition backpack features a spacious two-level main compartment (36 x 25 x 42 cm) and a detachable lower compartment with a rigid base (37 x 25 x 13 cm). The hard-shell lower compartment contains two large waterproof EVA pouches (33 x 10 x 8.5 cm), ideal for transporting and protecting lures such as poppers, stickbaits or jigs. Alternatively, expensive fishing reels can also be safely stored inside, as the sturdy hard-shell frame provides excellent protection against external impacts. This compartment is also designed to accommodate exactly two DAIWA LR D-Box tackle boxes, providing further options for safely transporting additional accessories. The main compartment offers ample storage space for all the equipment needed for a long day of fishing. The lower section of the main compartment contains two additional water-resistant EVA cases (21 x 14 x 8 cm and 24 x 16 x 9 cm) for safely transporting and neatly organising leaders, swivels, hooks, hook-tying tools and other small accessories. This compartment also features a separate mesh jig bag – ideal for carrying a selection of lures for the day and subsequently rinsing jigs, poppers, soft plastics and other artificial lures. The upper section of the main compartment offers plenty of space for everything you may need while fishing, including waterproof clothing, tackle boxes, sunscreen and other larger accessories. The lid of the main compartment features an additional water-resistant, transparent flat pocket and a splash-resistant flap. Frequently used items such as pliers, gloves, fish grips, leader spools and other accessories can be stored here for quick access and neat organisation. Additional zipped pockets on both sides provide secure storage for phones, documents and other accessories. An integrated pliers holder and four side loops allow additional carabiners or other equipment to be attached. The rubberised base and water-repellent zips prevent water and moisture from entering. Extra-wide, non-absorbent shoulder straps ensure excellent carrying comfort and maximum durability, even when fully loaded.
