Description
Precisely crafted through-running lead sinker in a bullet shape is an ideal choice for fishing techniques such as Carolina rig, Texas rig, and others. These are among the most effective methods for presenting lures when targeting predatory fish. The bullet shape ensures smooth passage through obstacles and minimal resistance when in contact with the bottom or vegetation, helping the lure move naturally even in cover.
The center hole allows for easy threading and combination with a bead, micro ring, or swivel, depending on the rig used. We recommend using a rubber stopper (bobber stopper) to protect the knot.
Texas rig
The sinker is threaded directly onto the line in front of the hook with a soft plastic lure. When using an offset hook, the lure is better balanced and won’t spin. The Texas rig allows for very slow and precise lure presentation close to the bottom and among obstacles.
Carolina rig
In this case, the sinker (with bead) is separated from the lure by a leader of any desired length. This allows the lure to move freely behind the weight, providing a subtle, more natural action. The Carolina rig is a great method for slow and precise fishing at longer distances or when thoroughly covering smaller areas. Using an offset hook helps keep the lure well-balanced and prevents it from spinning.
