These pliers are ideal for opening split rings with a diameter from 5 mm to 12 mm and for unhooking. The cutting edge can also be used to cut steel wire and monofilament when making leaders. The notches on the outside are ideal for tightening knots onto hook shanks. The surface treatment reduces the risk of corrosion. The pliers feature an ergonomically shaped non-slip handle for a firm grip.
