Description
With the BG Offshore rod series, DAIWA offers a versatile range designed for demanding saltwater fishing in Norway, the Baltic Sea and exotic waters.
Slim and durable HMC+ carbon blanks provide excellent power reserves and reliable performance even in the most demanding conditions. Saltwater-resistant titanium oxide guides, robust DPS-H and DPS reel seats with additional locking nuts, and premium EVA handles ensure maximum reliability and comfort. The BG series is the ideal choice for anglers who demand uncompromising performance.
The BG Deep Sea rods from DAIWA have been specially designed for demanding fishing for large cod, ling and redfish in deep waters. The extremely powerful blank, combined with a special guide configuration, is designed for fishing with both baitfish and large artificial lures at extreme depths. The fast and powerful 1.75m model excels when fishing with large soft plastic lures and heavy metal jigs (pilkers), offering the ideal combination of control and power for fighting trophy fish.
The extended foregrip provides excellent leverage, while the robust DPS-H reel seat with an additional locking nut keeps conventional reels securely in place at all times. Combining excellent bite detection, exceptional lifting power and reliable components, the BG Deep Sea rods are built for uncompromising performance at sea.
