Description
These sunglasses feature ventilated nose pads, large lenses, and wide temples designed to help you see more clearly without distracting glare. We use only the highest-quality polyamide (PA) lenses with multiple protective coatings. The lenses incorporate several layers, including a saltwater-resistant treatment that provides enhanced protection against corrosion. An anti-reflective coating on the inner surface reduces glare caused by light sources located behind you. The frames are made from lightweight and durable TR90 material.
Grey lenses
Grey lenses are an excellent choice for sunny days, as they reduce light intensity without distorting colours like some other lens types. In addition, these sunglasses help minimise eye strain during extended use. Anglers fishing in rivers with grey or rocky bottoms should opt for grey lenses, as they provide natural colour perception and comfortable vision in bright conditions.
Polarised polyamide
PA lenses are manufactured using precision injection technology, giving them outstanding optical performance and exceptional clarity compared to polycarbonate (PC) and other plastic lenses. They also offer excellent scratch resistance. PA lenses are extremely lightweight, free from Bisphenol A (BPA), and provide a polarisation efficiency of 99%.
Scratch-resistant coating
Despite advances in lens technology, no lenses are completely scratch-proof – not even glass lenses. However, Leech lenses are treated with a clear hard coating on both the front and back surfaces, making them considerably more resistant to scratches.
Anti-reflective coating
An anti-reflective (AR) coating improves visual comfort and enhances the appearance of the sunglasses. The coating applied to the inner surface of the lenses helps prevent glare caused by light sources positioned behind the wearer.
UV400 protection
This treatment protects your eyes from harmful ultraviolet radiation, providing 100% protection against UVA, UVB, and UVC rays.
Saltwater-resistant coating
This coating has been specially developed for use in marine environments. It protects the lenses against saltwater exposure, which can lead to peeling and corrosion over time. The special treatment has been tested in our laboratories and, in addition to enhanced protection, provides hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. This extra level of protection is recommended for prolonged and intensive use in saltwater conditions.
