Description

Creating an ultra-light snap that won’t affect the action of even the lightest lure is a real challenge. Creating one that is also welded is a completely different league. The Vanfook WES-F snap is the result of many years of development—Vanfook has achieved the impossible and delivers an ultra-light welded snap designed for the most delicate finesse techniques.

The joints between the exceptionally fine wires are welded using spot welding—a technology that is extremely demanding with material this thin. This manufacturing process significantly reduces the risk of line tangling while also minimizing the accumulation of dirt. Naturally, it also increases strength and durability.

The entire construction is designed to be as light as possible, allowing the lure to perform exactly as intended. Due to the use of ultra-fine wire, however, if the body of the snap becomes deformed or the weld loosens, it’s time to replace it.
