The Ballistic HD was designed as the affordable little brother of the Certate reel!

An extremely tough and high-performance reel, designed to handle challenging conditions and strong fish in both saltwater and freshwater environments.
The reel features a monocoque aluminum body – lightweight, yet solid and durable. The rotor uses Airdrive technology – a new concept that minimizes rotational inertia without sacrificing strength. It’s made of ZAION V, a carbon-based composite.

Ballistic HD is ideal for medium-heavy spinning targeting large freshwater and saltwater predators.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR
The new AIRDRIVE ROTOR is designed to reduce rotational inertia while maintaining strength and solidity, weighing less than its predecessor thanks to significant structural improvements.

AIRDRIVE BAIL
The bail wire is thinner, lighter, yet stronger than its predecessor. Its inclination has been revised to improve line flow toward the line guide roller.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL
The spool is optimized for weight and smooth operation. The anti-line tangle deflector and refined mechanics enhance the overall user experience.

MONOCOQUE BODY
The MONOCOQUE BODY technology provides extreme structural rigidity and increased resistance to stress. The one-piece body allows for a larger drive gear, improving power transmission and rotation. The MQ concept also enhances protection from dirt and salt, increasing the reel's longevity.

TOUGH DIGIGEAR
Thanks to TOUGH DIGIGEAR technology, the gears are larger than in the original version, providing better performance in terms of durability and long-term reliability.

MAGSEALED BODY
This technology uses a magnetic oil membrane to seal the shaft entry, preventing water and dust from entering the body. This protects the internal mechanisms from corrosion and extends the reel’s life.
In the BALLISTIC HD, it protects the body, maintains smooth rotation, reduces friction, and enhances the overall fishing experience.

FRONT DRAG
The new ATD-Type L drag system, inspired by the flagship Exist, is even smoother and more progressive, improving drag modulation and reducing stress on the line.
