J-BRAID Expedition shares the same IZANAS fiber construction that has made J-BRAID lines so popular, but now it features Daiwa’s advanced “Coating PE” technology. Thanks to this innovation, DAIWA has created a smoother and softer braided line with hydrophobic properties that enhance durability and improve sensitivity.

The silicone coating prevents the line from absorbing any water — an essential benefit, as it also means it won’t soak up silt or sediment present in the water, which is one of the main causes of wear on braided lines over time. With its hydrophobic qualities, J-BRAID EXPEDITION lasts longer than traditional braided lines, offering greater value and superior performance.
