Description

The improved T-Wing system winds and releases line faster than conventional T-Wing models, preventing thin braided lines from tangling on the spool. The lightweight, slim 36 mm spool rotates faster, allowing longer casting distances with thin braided lines. The 26 Morethan TW PE Special reel combines DAIWA's latest Hyper Drive Design concept with the Mag-Z Boost braking system. The Mag-Z Boost system maximizes casting distance by fully extending the inductor rotor during the initial phase of the cast, when spool speed is at its highest. This provides maximum magnetic braking force and reliably prevents backlash. During the cast, the braking force decreases to ensure a stable trajectory. Just before the lure hits the water, the inductor retracts almost completely, allowing the spool to rotate with virtually no friction during the final phase of the cast, resulting in a noticeable increase in casting distance and an improved trajectory. The aluminum Hyper Armed body securely supports the CNC-machined drive gear for perfect power transmission.

The Hyper Drive Digigear gearing with extra-large teeth provides excellent winding power and exceptionally smooth operation. The Hyper Tough Clutch is specially designed to prevent any unintended backlash – even during extremely powerful casts. The Magsealed construction combined with CRBB ball bearings allows and supports use in both brackish and saltwater environments. Features a drag clicker and a 110 mm handle. Ideal for lures weighing approximately 14 g to 100 g.

Note: This reel is not suitable for use with monofilament lines, as they may damage the spool.
