Description

The Pro Staff LD Coastal Spin rod series was developed in close cooperation with our DAIWA consultants, Tim Jaschke and Horst Hennings. The rods were specifically designed to meet the demands of ambitious fishing not only for sea trout. The 3.05 m and 3.20 m models offer excellent casting performance, combining exceptional casting distance with remarkable sensitivity. The versatile 2.75 m model is ideal for fishing in shallow coastal waters with lighter lures as well as for boat fishing. Premium, slim HVF carbon blanks with Nanoplus technology combine outstanding strength with exceptional balance. The strong backbone ensures an immediate hookset even at long distances, while the sensitive tip cushions sudden surges and head shakes of hard-fighting sea trout. DAIWA's exclusive X45 technology significantly reduces blank twist, enhancing casting accuracy and power transmission. During a fight, the 2.75 m model exhibits a smooth semi-parabolic action, making it particularly suitable for use with braided lines. Slightly lengthened EVA handles feature excellent leverage, extraordinary comfort, and perfect balance.
