Description
The Daiwa PR100 II represents a new generation of baitcasting reels designed for anglers new to baitcasting, delivering improved performance and optimal control on the water. Its exceptionally compact and ergonomic body is designed to fit naturally in the hand, ensuring a comfortable grip and reducing fatigue even during long fishing sessions.
At the heart of the reel is a new 33 mm Extra Super Duralumin spool working in combination with Super Free Quick Spool technology. This setup reduces spool inertia, significantly improves smoothness and ensures an immediate start-up during casting, even when using lightweight lures. Spool rotation is controlled by the proven Magforce magnetic braking system, providing stable, smooth and reliable adjustment. As a result, the reel is highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of fishing techniques.
The reel is further equipped with a 90 mm aluminium handle featuring soft-touch knobs for comfortable and precise retrieves. The addition of the Star Drag Click, Drag Click and Spool Dial Click systems allows for fine, audible, click-by-click adjustment of both the drag and spool tension. This gives the reel a level of precision and control typically associated with higher-end models.
